Murry N. Gunty is the founder and Managing Partner of Blackstreet Capital.  With over 18 years of private equity investment experience, Mr. Gunty has invested in excess of $1.6 billion of equity and subordinated debt capital in 31 transactions. He was formerly a General Partner of Jacobson Partners, L.P., a middle-market private equity fund focused on control buyouts of business with up to $150 million in revenue. Mr. Gunty is a former partner in the real estate principal investment area of Lazard Freres & Co., LLC, where he co-managed $3 billion of capital in real estate-related private equity funds. He is a former associate of the Blackstone Group.

Mr. Gunty is on the boards of Rauch Industries, Inc., American Combustion Industries, Inc., Flow Dry Technology, Inc. and PJCOMN, Inc.

Mr. Gunty received an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
